ELMHURST—Jeff Redick announced today that he is a candidate for the DuPage County Board, District 2, in the March 2006 Republican Primary.

“The people of District 2 deserve responsive, reliable representation on the County Board,” said Redick.

Redick is an attorney in Oak Brook. In his practice he represents businesses, municipalities and medical providers in civil actions and claims for compensation under the Illinois Worker’s Compensation Act.

“I live, work and raise my family in DuPage County District 2,” said Redick. “I understand the needs of families and businesses in this District. As I walk to the doors of District 2 voters I will listen about the issues that are on their minds. I will work hard to earn their trust and their vote.”

“County government may be facing a budget dilemma, as the State budget continues in crisis,” said Redick. “I want to work to resolve pressing financial issues without breaking the backs of DuPage County taxpayers.”

State Senator Dan Cronin, who has endorsed Redick’s candidacy, said “Jeff is a hard working, energetic, leader that will provide the people of District 2 with outstanding representation on the DuPage County Board.”

Redick serves on the Board of Directors of the Autism Legislative Project which works to better the lives of Autistic individuals and their families through legislative reform. He also serves on the York Township Senior Advisory Committee which is responsible for senior programming.

Redick lives in Elmhurst with his wife, Jodi, and their 6 year old and 3 year old sons.

Redick also launched his web site, www.jeffredick.com, which will provide the public with information about the candidate.
