REDICK SELECTED TO BE CHAIRMAN OF YORK TOWNSHIP’S SENIOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE

ELMHURST—The York Township Senior Advisory Committee has selected Jeff Redick to be the committee’s new Chairman.

“I am honored to be selected to serve in this position by my fellow committee members,” said Redick. “Programming for senior citizens is very important to our community and holds a very special place in my heart. I look forward to working with the York Township Board of Trustees to ensure that we provide our seniors with the type of quality programs that they so richly deserve.”

“Jeff Redick will be an excellent Chairman. He is an outstanding choice and I look forward to working with him,” said York Township Supervisor John Valle. “Jeff has shown a tremendous commitment to the senior citizens of York Township during his tenure on the Senior Advisory Committee. I am very excited about the direction and energy of the committee.”

“The seniors of York Township will be well served by the new Chairman,” said Barb Finn, York Township Trustee.

The York Township Senior Advisory Committee is responsible for evaluating and recommending programming for senior citizens in York Township. Redick has served on the committee since 2001.

“My goal is to provide programming centered on health, nutrition and safety issues that will better the lives of our citizens,” said Redick.

Redick, along with the other committee members were re-appointed to their positions on the York Township Senior Advisory Board at the September 13, 2005 meeting of the York Township Board of Trustees.
