OAK BROOK, IL—Following interviews with both candidates for DuPage County Board in District 2, The Doings newspaper editorial staff has endorsed Jeff Redick (R-Elmhurst) for re-election. The paper recognized Redick’s record of accomplishment on the Board working on behalf of the people of District 2. According to The Doings, Redick “has experience trying to move the county toward better governance.”

“I am honored and humbled by this endorsement,” said Redick.

In endorsing Redick’s candidacy, The Doings stated that the public should support him in order “to achieve progress” in developing a more “open government with stronger ethics and better long-term budget planning.”

“After four years of hard work trying to bring common-sense reform to county government, this endorsement serves as a recognition of those efforts and the improvements that have been made,” said Redick.

The Doings coverage includes portions of District 2 in Elmhurst, Oak Brook, Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills.
